Frederickson Design Services was started in 1994 to fill a need for Architectural and Mechanical designs at a lower cost than hiring an Architectural or Engineering firm.

Businesses can benefit from quick turn-around of projects at a lower overhead cost of hiring an in-house contractor or full-time employee for short-term projects such as R & D projects. In addition, long-term projects that have a low-priority and sap in-house resources can be done outside such as the conversion of legacy 2d documents to 3d models and drawings.
 
For those customers who need in-house support, Rick Frederickson can be hired as an independent contractor for the duration of the project.

Homeowners can benefit from architectural designs at a lower cost than hiring an architectural firm. Many home projects don’t require the expertise of an architect but are complicated enough to require some advanced planning. Other projects might require a permit which will be easier to acquire with drawings. Still there are some occasions that a home owner may just want to get a visual of what their idea may look like before deciding to build.
